Air Jordan 16 Retro

The Air Jordan 16 Retro released in 2016, was the first retro for the Jordan 16 since it debuted in 2001. The original dropped during Jordan’s post-bulls era and in his move from player to member of the front office with the Washington Wizards. The shoe was also a departure from a traditional Jordan designer as the 16 was the brainchild of designer Wilson Smith. Inspired by the marching boot, the shoe’s detachable cover is what makes the shoe stand out.  Jordan would wear the 16’s on the Court in a different colorway for a 2001-2002 pre-season game during his last dance as a player with Washington Wizards.
