The kick’s colorway draws inspiration from the 1996 Detroit Pistons and chronicles the legend of fictional basketball prodigy Apollos “The S is Silent" Young, A.Y. for short. A.Y is known as the greatest basketball player who never was after personal hardships sidelined his NBA career. Despite losing everything on the court, the phenom maintained a lifetime endorsement with Reebok paving the way for this collaboration. The Burn Rubbers feature a black leather upper with red suede on the toe box and heel. The famous 90’s Detroit Teal is on the interior lining and speckled throughout the midsole. Rebook produced only 500 pairs of this unique colorway.
