We live in an age where sneakers are treated as a commodity, more or less. They’re assets. Stocks. It’s why the culture has lost its soul and why things have become as frustrating as they have.

Another Lane is here to change that. This new secondary market space launched this week and I’m super excited about it.

The entire launch event is worth peeping, but here’s a quick trailer in the meantime.

Just calling it another secondary marketplace feels too simplistic. It’s deeper than that. This is a platform founded by Chad Jones (aka Sneaker Galactus) and Adena Jones — two sneakerheads who are for the culture and of the culture with a true love of kicks.

They didn’t create this just to simply give you another option for flipping – they’re creating a community. This is a platform that connects you with people who love kicks the same way you do. They aren’t nameless and faceless, as they are in other spaces. They’re also part of the same community you are.

The details.

  • There are no seller fees for Insider members. You won’t find that anywhere else. You built your collection up, you put effort into it, so they want you to reap those benefits. Plain and simple.
  • Every member is vetted by the staff upon signing up. Again, it’s not just a space for flipping. It’s a community of people with a dedication to the culture.
  • The best part might be the fact that not only can you set up your own sneaker shop on the platform, but they also help you market and promote your products and your shop. It’s incredibly dope.

This is a game changer. It’s a space for sneakerheads, made by sneakerheads. It’ll be handled with care. And, plus, it’s Black owned. It doesn’t get any better than that.
